Newburn Leisure Centre
Core Skills, Wing Chun and Boxing. The class is centred around stand up skills with an emphasis on boxing using padwork, drills & sparring. All levels including beginners. £5 (£4SU/£3 Concessions) Monthly discounts available to members
Tuesday. 6.300-8.30pm -
Chillingham Road (Sports Hall)
Chinese Boxing training. Heavy fitness night with emphasis on boxing and clinch skills. Padwork, drills, tool sparring, Boxing, Kick Boxing, Clinch & MMA standup sparring. Not suitable for beginners. £5 (£4SU/£3 Concessions) Monthly discounts available to members
Wednesday. 6.30-8.30pm Chillingham Road (Sports Hall)
No Gi Grappling. Based on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and wrestling skills this is essentially a different martial arts class. We have guest instructors attending and are currently working on Eddie Bravo's 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu System. Open to all levels. £5 (£4SU/£3 Concessions) Monthly discounts available to members
Thursday. 6.30-8.30pm Chillingham Road (Dining Hall)
Core Wing Chun skills. Body Structure, Stance, Forms, Chi Sau, Wing Chun Drills. There is an optional 30 minute fitness session starting at 6pm.
